Why only
Wed and Fri?

Because if we did it every day, it wouldn't be a thing.

Midweek deserves better than a meal-deal. So we picked two days - Wednesday and Friday - made them ours, and went all in: every King-prawn platter comes with twice the prawns. Same price, same sauces, same cook.

June 2024 we opened the doors. We didn't know if Birmingham was ready for a Louisiana-style boil where you eat with your hands and wear a bib. We just backed ourselves and went for it - and you showed up. Hen dos, birthdays, dates, families, your worst-behaved group chats.

So every Wednesday and Friday, your platter's prawns double. Have seafood any other day of the week, fine - but if it's a Wednesday or Friday in this city, it has to be Seafood City.

  • Every Wednesday and Friday. No end date — miss it, there is always next week.
  • Applies to every platter that includes King prawns. Pre-set quantities only - no extra add-ons.
  • Same price as a regular platter. Nothing else changes - same sauces, same sides, same cook.
  • Dine-in only. Not valid for takeaways or delivery.
  • Booking strongly recommended. Walk-ins on the eligible days will be honoured subject to availability.
  • One double-prawn upgrade per platter ordered. Cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
  • Seafood City Birmingham reserves the right to vary or end the offer at any time.
